Enrollment Policy

The Coop Academy

Open Enrollment

The Coop is an enrichment program open to all eligible students. Enrollment is confirmed on a first‑come, first‑served basis until program capacity is reached.

Lottery Procedure

If the number of applications exceeds available space at the start of a term, all applications received by the deadline will be entered into a random lottery. Students selected in the lottery will be offered enrollment until all available spots are filled. Students not selected will be placed on a waitlist in the order drawn. Families will be notified promptly of their enrollment or waitlist status.

Waitlist Management

Students on the waitlist will be admitted in the order drawn as space becomes available. Waitlists do not roll over between terms; families must reapply each term.

Assessment Use

Assessments may be conducted after enrollment to determine placement and instructional support. Assessment results do not affect enrollment eligibility.

Behavioral Expectations

All students and families are expected to uphold our published behavioral expectations and family participation agreement. Students may only be removed for legally defined reasons such as safety concerns or attendance violations.

Non‑Discrimination Statement

The Coop does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sex, gender identity, or any other protected class.
